GRAND RAPIDS – The Ludington boys swim team finished sixth out of eight teams at the Grand Rapids Northview Swimming and Diving Invitational Saturday.
The Orioles finshed with 109.5 points. Winning the meet was Grandville with 371.5 points.
Orioles’ freshman Sawyer Bishop placed ninth in diving with a six-dive score of 163.7. Grady Sailor placed 12th in the 100 Freestyle with a personal record of 55.72.
Jaden Vronko placed 14th with a time of 57.35 in the 100 individual medley. Dylan Sniegowski finished seventh with a PR of 1:01.9. in the 50 free.
Gavin Smith finished in 10th place with a time of 24.38 and Grady Sailor finished in 12th with a PR of 24.40.
Sniegowski finished in fifth place with a PR time of 26.14 and Lucas Miller finished 15th also with a PR time of 27.21 in the 50 fly.
In the 50 backstroke, Jaden Vronko finished in seventh place with a time of 28.42. Lucas Miller finished in 13th place in the 50 yard breast with a PR time of 33.25. Ludington’s 200 free relay team of Dylan Sniegowski, Jaden Vronko, Grady Sailor and Gavin Smith placed seventh with a time of 1:39.10.
Many other Oriole swimmers had PRs in their individual events.
Ludington will host conference foe Manistee on Tuesday at the Donald C. Baldwin pool at 6 p.m. in their first dual meet of the season.
