DETROIT – Luke McCarthy scored four goals on Saturday night and led the Muskegon Voyagers to a 10-4 victory over the Detroit Warhawks.
 
The Voyagers came out storming in the opening period and scored three goals on 19 shots. McCarthy, Jordan Truxton and Ryan Gamber each turned on the red light for Muskegon.
 
Three more goals in the middle period made it 6-0 for the visitors from Muskegon.
 
In the final period, Muskegon scored four goals to finish the game in a rout. Riley Pitchure scored a Voyager goal while two of his teammates were in the penalty box. Truxton and McCarthy also scored goals in the final period.
 
The Voyagers return home on Saturday night for a game at Lakeshore Sports Centre.
