GRAND HAVEN – The Montague girls wrestling team took sixth place of a 26-team field at the Adam Provincial Tournament on Saturday.
Ava Pelton won her third tournament of the year. Taylor Moore was winning her match before an injury caused her to be pinned to get her fourth straight second-place finish of the season.
Zaniya Meza came in fourth, while Reid Thommen got her first win since returning to the lineup.
“We are so proud of our girls as they continue to have fun each weekend,” said Montague coach Kristoffer Maddox.
