Kent City comes out strong, runs over Montague in girls’ basketball action

MONTAGUE – The Kent City girls basketball team soared past Montague in a non-conference matchup on Thursday evening, 47-21.

The Eagles found the lead early and never relinquished it and earned the victory.

The Wildcats’ Braylyn Bultema put up six points, while Addison Pranger and Maizie Collins added five and four points, respectively.

Kent City (4-2, 1-1) will host McBain on Monday.

Montague (1-6, 1-2) will be at home for WMC-Lakes action against Manistee on Tuesday.
