SHELBY – The Shelby girls basketball team took down Potters House Christian, 44-29, on Tuesday evening.
The Tigers edged out Potters House 12-8 in the first quarter and led 21-15 at halftime. A 13-5 third-quarter scoring advantage allowed the Tigers to build on their lead.
Jayna Burmeister recorded a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. Ava Lamberg scored 10 points, while Annabelle Stark and Kylie Brown each grabbed six rebounds.
Shelby (8-1, 5-1) hosts Muskegon Catholic Central on Thursday.
