HESPERIA – The Holton girls’ basketball team cruised to a dominating 52-15 WMC-Rivers victory over Hesperia on Tuesday evening.

The Red Devils outscored the Panthers 32-5 over the first half and never looked back.

The Red Devils made nine 3-pointers on the night, including six in the first half.

“This is a season-high for us and it was good to see the ball go through the hoop,” Holton coach Robert Jordan said. “We are coming off of a three-game stretch where we have struggled to score.”

Kaylee McMillan led all scorers with 17 points and Aubrey Goyings scored eight points. Kenzie Greene and Mya Bartolameolli each added six points.

Holton (8-11 overall, 4-7 WMC-Rivers) hosts Hart on Friday for a conference matchup.

Hesperia (0-16 overall, 0-10 WMC-Rivers) will be at home on Thursday for a league game against Ravenna.
