The Mona Shores soccer team fell to No. 1 ranked Holland in the O-K Green championship game Monday night. The Sailors couldn’t get their offense rolling and fell 6-0.

Mona Shores finishes the regular season 10-3-1 overall and 7-3 in conference play, good for second in the O-K Green. 

The Sailors will begin district play Wednesday at home against West Ottawa. 

WHITEHALL 8, RAVENNA 0 — The Vikings picked up their 10th win the season, as they beat the Bulldogs 8-0.

Kyren Bluhm paced the Vikings with two goals and an assist. Parker Jacobs netted two goals, while Guillermo Vergara scored a goal and recorded an assist. Parker Jacobs, Dylan Osborn, and Denver Aguirre each scored a goal. 

Taden Brandel dished out two assists, while Bailey Taranko and Yahir Gonzalez added an assist each. 

Sam Stevens recorded a clean sheet, making two saves in the net.

The Vikings finish the regular season 10-1-1, and will play the winner of Fruitport and Reeths-Puffer in the district tournament next Tuesday night.

FREMONT 6, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC CENTRAL 1 — The Packers defeated the Crusaders in a battle of ex-conference foes Monday night.

Fremont jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first half before adding to the lead with a 2-1 edge in the second half.

Grant Vissia paced the Packers with two goals, while David Wachter scored a goal and an assist. Marcus Klimek, Braiden McDonald, and John Vissia each scored once. Carter Miller, Ed Hallberg and Carson Herman added an assist each. 

Joe Kortage made two saves in goal for the Packers. Miller and Grant Vissia each made a save as well. 

Dominik Wodrisz scored the lone goal for the Crusaders. 

Fremont out shot the Crusaders 17-5, as they improved to 14-1-2 overall. The Crusaders fall to 2-11-1.

REETHS-PUFFER 3, ZEELAND EAST 0 — The Rockets shut out Zeeland East in their final game of the regular season.

Tanner O’Neal opened the scoring with five minutes left in the first half off an assist from Danny Goodell to give the Rockets a 1-0 lead. 

Three minutes into the second half, the Rockets struck again with Jaxon Carpenter finishing off a pass from Liam Smith.

With 17 minutes left in the game, Issac Ritsema iced the game with a goal on an assist from Carpenter. 

Gage Hopkins made three saves and recorded a clean sheet. 

The Rockets finish the regular season 4-7-4 overall and 4-5-1 in O-K Green conference play. The Rockets play the Fruitport Trojans in the first round of districts Thursday night.
