Five players reach double figures in Mona Shores’ boys rout of GR Union

NORTON SHORES – The Mona Shores boys basketball team crushed Grand Rapids Union 81-22 in OK-Green play on Friday evening.

The Sailors produced multiple double-doubles in the high-scoring affair.

Landyn Smith posted a double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds, while Jonathan Pittman had 10 points and 13 rebounds. Jordan Bledsoe led the scoring with 12 points and added eight assists.

Ryan Opsommer had 12 points and four assists. Milo Barangan chipped in 12 points.

Mona Shores (9-3, 3-2) will be at Zeeland West on Tuesday for another conference game.
