Lincoln scored a goal just 11 seconds into the game on Friday night and never looked back in a 5-2 victory over the Muskegon Lumberjacks.

The host Stars scored the game’s first five goals. After the first three goals, Jacks’ starting goaltender Kevin Lindskoug was pulled in favor of Jordan Uhelski.

Muskegon did not score until 13;50 of the final period on Riley Alferd’s fifth goal of the season. He tipped in a shot from defenseman Rasmus Bengtsson. Michael Brodzinski also assisted on the goal.

Less than three minutes later Brodzinski scored his 13th of the season. That goal was unassisted.

The Lumberjacks fall to 1-4-3 against the Western Conference this season.
