FREMONT — Fremont gained a measure of revenge in girls’ soccer action on Monday.

In a previous meeting, Tri-County outscored Fremont, 8-6.

But this time was a whole different story as Fremont blanked the Vikings, 5-0.

Fremont’s Mia Clemence got the scoring started on an assist from Bethany Geeting 8 minutes into the match.  Her goal stood until half with the Packers leading 1-0. 

In the second half, Anna Norris scored the next two goals from Clemence and Maya Hambrock. 

Clemence struck again with 17 minutes to play. 

The final goal came from Maddie Mater on an assist from Olivia Dunbar. 

Fremont outshot the visitors 18-10.  Fremont’s Hallie Snyder made 10 saves in net while Tri-County’s keeper Athena Herrington made 13 saves. 

Fremont improved 14-4-1 and Tri-County fell to 14-3-1.
