The Western Michigan Christian girls soccer team opened its River Valley Conference season Thursday night at home with a 7-2 win over Wyoming Tri-Unity Christian.
The Warriors led 3-0 at intermission and added four more goals the second half while the Defenders scored twice.
Junior Jessica Kinnucan started the scoring for WMC and then Brea Frein headed in a corner kick from Alyssa Wright to make it 2-0.
Sophomore Cassie Kingma finished the first half scoring with a shot from outside.
Kinnucan and Frein scored again in the second half along with Harlie Hubers and Brianna Garceau for WMC.
