The Reeths-Puffer wrestling team picked up two dominant victories on Wednesday, defeating Mona Shores 55-9 and Coopersville 50-24.
Connor Bloomstrom (112), Jacob Blawat (119), Alex Chipman (135), Caleb McNeil (160), Colby Stephenson (189) and Hunter McCall (285) all went 2-0 on the night for Reeths-Puffer.
Noah McKinnon (130), Salvador Sanchez (145) and Thade Radosa (145) all went 1-0 on the night.
MONTAGUE DROPS TWO – The Montague wrestling team fell 42-38 to Ravenna and 46-24 to Hopkins on Wednesday night.
Kevin Roll, Aiden Perreault, Tristan Winkleblack, Cale Coppess and Logan Fairchild all went 2-0 for Ravenna while Max Dahl and Presley Davis went 1-0.
RAVENNA SPLITS – The Ravenna wrestling team went 1-1 on Wednesday, defeating Montague 42-38 but losing 53-18 to Hopkins.
Josh Kooiman (135) went 2-0 while Nick Ely (285) and Lupe Barcenas (285) each went 1-0.
GRAND HAVEN DOMINATES HUDSONVILLE – The Grand Haven wrestling team defeated Hudsonville 65-14 on Wednesday night.
Winning wrestlers for the Buccaneers were Aiden Pike (103), Riley Rhone (112), Hefzur Rahman (119), Logan Vining (125), Zach Boersen (140), Alex Spangler (152), Trevor Rademaker (160), Luke Rokus (171), Bronsen Jewell (189), Dayne Arnett (215) and Ben Hanna (285).
FRUITPORT GOES 1-1 – The Fruitport wrestling team defeated Spring Lake 48-30 but fell 59-16 to Jenison.
Winning their match against Jenison for Fruitport was David Ross (160), Jayme Woodring (189) and Crue Cooper (215).
Winning against Spring Lake was Evan Ludlow (125), Connor Sykes (130), Ryan Sloan (140), Karl Glydewell (145), Tyler Ranshaw (152), Caden Franklin (160), Ross (171), Woodring (189), and Cooper (215).
