Mason County Central outscored host Hart 34-12 in the second quarter en route to a 65-32 West Michigan Conference win Friday.
The Spartans went to the half with 31-20 lead and pulled away from the Pirates (0-12) with a 20-4 scoring advantage in the third quarter.
MCC (8-3) had nine players score, led by Kody Ambrose with 14. Payton Tyndall scored 13, Coltyn Tyndall and Nick Bennett added 12 apiece and Josh Ritzema finished with six assists.
Hart’s Brandon Amstutz scored 10 points.
