Former Muskegon Fury and Lumberjack forward Todd Robinson worked his overtime magic again on Saturday night.

Robinson scored the game-winning goal in overtime of Game 7 of the Central Hockey League playoffs and gave the Allen Americans a 3-2 victory over the Wichita Thunder. Robinson’s goal came at 2:47 of the first overtime.

Back in 2002, while playing for the Muskegon Fury, Robinson scored on a breakaway in Game 6 at L.C. Walker Arena that gave the Fury the Colonial Cup championship in Game 6 against the Elmira Jackals.

On Saturday night, before a crowd of 6,125 at Allen Event Center, Robinson scored to give the Americans their first President’s Cup championship.
