Mona Shores girls build big lead, then hold on for a 64-56 win over Jenison

The Mona Shores Sailors girls basketball team built a 16-point lead after three quarters, which helped it withstand a late Jenison comeback and seal a 64-56 non-conference victory.

Jasmyn Walker paced Mona Shores with 23 points. Sarah Jones added 11 points and Kelsey Wolffis had 10 for the winners. Jordan Walker chipped in six rebounds and four assists while Amy Gillings had four steals.

Jordan TenBrink paced Jenison with 15 points, which all came on 3-pointers.
