Reeths-Puffer fell to Kenowa Hills 56-50 in an OK Black boys Conference game on Friday night.

Coach Dave Ingles said that the Rockets weren’t able to bring the intensity from their win over Holland but still had a chance late against the Knights.

“The good news was that we hung around and gave ourselves a chance,” said Ingles. “We missed a wide open 3 off an inbounds play with 10 seconds left that would have tied it.”

The Rockets trailed early 13-7 after one quarter and 26-18 at halftime.

Deandre Oakes-Owens led RP with 18 points and DeAngelo Williams scored 14.
