Mariss Spickerman’s 17 points leads Fremont over Holton for girls basketball win

Marissa Spickerman sank three 3-pointers and scored 17 points to lead Fremont over Holton in girls basketball.

The Packers used a 22-11 first half lead and fought off Holton in the second half. Fremont let its lead dip to 33-26 to start the fourth quarter.

Bri DeKryger also led Fremotn with 15 points and 10 rebounds and Lexie Bradley added five points and seven rebounds.

Holton’s Katie Wildfong scored 14 points and Rachel Younts added 11. Megan Latsch pitched in six points and six assists.
