Muskegon Community College women’s basketball team falls to Lansing Community College

Grand Rapids Community College women’s basketball team beat Muskegon Community College 71-64 on Wednesday night.

Muskegon CC followed a big win Monday vs. Lansing CC with an uninspired loss agsinst Grand Rapids CC.

The Jayhawks handled GRCC at Grand Rapids in their first meeting 71-49, but couldn’t finish plays on Wednesday night to get the win and make a move on third place in the conference.

Stephanie Stevens torched the Jayhawks for 25 points and Kayla Rosinski scored at will in the paint en route to an 18 point effort.

Muskegon CC shot 28 percent from the floor in the game, including 23-of-53 shooting inside the arc.

Muskegon will look to bounce back Saturday at Kellogg CC.
