“Our first meeting against Sparta was a defensive battle,” said Grant coach Josh Delamater. “We knew they would come in ready to play. Our identity has become our defense. We can really lock teams down when we focus on it and everyone does their part,”

Nick Brown led Grant with 19 points and 12 rebounds and Riley Foster added 11 points.

Grant will now face Fremont in the semifinals a team they split with during the regular season.

“Fremont is a great team,” Delamater said. “We played excellent against them last Tuesday and they shot the ball poorly. I anticipate seeing a much different team on Wednesday. We will have to play our best game of the season to beat them.”
