The Muskegon Heights football team had a tough time on Saturday, dropping a 44-0 decision to visiting Ann Arbor Gabriel Richard at Phillips Field.LSJ Logo incert

The visitors led 7-0 after one quarter, then took control with 23 points in the second quarter. They added 14 points in the second half.

Muskegon Heights was outgained 299-140 in total offense. The Tigers’ efforts were crippled by three turnovers – two lost fumbles and an interception.

Javante Kendricks paced the Tiger offense with five catches for 85 yards. Quarterback Anthony Gordon was 6-for-11 for 81 yards, while Brice Spencer and Keazion Pace had six tackles apiece for Muskegon Heights, which dropped to 1-3 on the season.
