Ravenna tops Coopersville in nonconference soccer game

The Ravenna Bulldogs earned a hard fought 2-1 victory over Coopersville on Thursday afternoon.

Ravenna found themselves down 1-0 only six minutes into the game and continued being down 1-0 until the second half.

Twenty seven minutes into the second half, Ravenna tied the game up when Mason Averill scored off an assist from Connor Moran.

With only five minutes into the game, Averill scored the game winning goal for Ravenna.

Goalkeeper Tyler Marsman picked up the win stopping eight of nine shots that he faced.
