The Kent City baseball team picked up two CSAA conference victories on Friday, defeating Morley Stanwood 12-8 and 4-2.LSJ Logo incert

In Game 1, pitcher Quinn Koomen picked up the victory for the Eagles, tossing seven innings while striking out seven batters.

Luke Scheuneman led Kent City with three hits and five RBIs while Hunter Babbitt added two RBIs.

In the nightcap, Luke O’Keefe picked up the win for Kent City, pitching a complete game while striking out eight.

Koomen led the Eagles at the plate with two hits and a RBI, while Scheuneman added another two RBIs to his day.

Kent City is now 10-2 overall and 10-0 in CSAA Silver Division play.
