Mona Shores senior Jordan Walker had a big night on Friday.

She totaled 22 points, eight steals and three assists to lead the Sailors to an easy 64-25 victory over Grand Rapids Union in an O-K Black Conference game.

Before the game Walker was honored for breaking the schools’ all-time assist record of 308, which was previously held by Sailor legend Stacy Piasecki. Walker is also Mona Shores’ all-time scoring leader.

The Sailors, now 11-3 overall and 5-1 in the league, scored the first 39 points of the game and took a 39-3 lead into the half.

Alyza Winston dropped 20 points and added four steals for the Sailors while Justice Porter-Harris had a season-high eight points.

MUSKEGON 59, JENISON 43 – Muskegon (7-4, 5-1) outscored Jenison in every quarter on Friday night to pick up an O-K Black conference home victory. Daz’Sha Day led the Big Reds with 19 points while Diynasti Dowell added 12. Sparkle Woods also had 12 points for Muskegon.

REETHS-PUFFER 55, FRUITPORT 32 – Reeths-Puffer started and finished strong in an O-K Black game. The Rockets outscored the Trojans 13-5 in the first quarter and 18-10 in the fourth to bookend the win. Reeths-Puffer improved to 9-3 overall and 4-1 in the conference while Fruitport fell to 4-8  and 2-4.

SPRING LAKE 54, WEST CATHOLIC 34 – The Lakers (8-4, 5-1) exploded out of the halftime break to outscore West Catholic 34-14 in the final 16 minutes. Madeline Zenas helped spur the Spring Lake offense with her game-high 16 points, while team defense did the rest, stifling the West Catholic attack and only allowing two points in the third quarter.

O-K RED

GRAND HAVEN 45, GRANDVILLE 32 – Ali Keyser poured in 14 points in the Bucs’ O-K Red conference win. Grand Haven (8-5, 3-3) led 25-15 at the half and cruised to victory. Kelly Olthof had 11 points and five rebounds for Grand Haven while Sophie Mariani added eight points.
