The Whitehall girls basketball squad held on to defeat Hart 46-43 on Friday in a West Michigan Conference game.

The Vikings had a 29-22 lead at the half, but the Pirates cut into that lead in the third, trailing by just five heading into the fourth stanza.

Kacy Jeffires led the Vikings with 14 points while Abby Seeger added seven points and nine rebounds.

Yasmine Colon paced the Pirates with 21 points.

OAKRIDGE 49, RAVENNA 16 – The Eagles jumped out to a 16-6 lead after the first quarter, led 31-6 at halftime and had a 44-9 advantage after the third quarter. Oakridge held the Bulldogs to under 10 points in all four quarters. Sophia Wiard paced the Eagles with 22 points, four assists and five steals while Jenna Lowry added nine points. Ravenna was led by Analiese Postema and Megan Crowley with four points each.

MONTAGUE 37, NORTH MUSKEGON 26 – The Wildcats were led by Grace Meacham with 17 points and seven rebounds while Morgan Osborne added nine points and three assists. Montague led 10-4 after the first quarter and 17-13 at halftime. The Wildcats trailed 20-19 heading into the final stanza but closed the game strong with an 18-6 run. Montage is now 9-8 on the season and 6-6 in league play.
