The Oakridge softball squad swept a doubleheader against Mona Shores on Wednesday in non-league action.

The Eagles won the opener 8-4, then defeated Mona Shores 6-1 in the nightcap to improve to 2-0 on the season.

Brie Pastor picked up the win in Game 1 for Oakridge, striking out four batters while allowing nine hits.

The Eagles were led offensively by Kylee Upson, Haile Jennings and Kayla Fessenden with two hits apiece.

Mona Shores was paced by Grace Hall and Zoie Willeke with two hits each.

In Game 2, Oakridge was led by Fessenden, who allowed three hits on the mound while striking out 12 batters. She also led offensively with two hits and an RBI.

The Sailors, who are now 0-3 on the season, were paced by Hall with two hits.
