Muskegon Catholic volleyball team captures silver championship at Warren Woods

The Muskegon Catholic volleyball team took home the silver championship on Saturday at the Warren Woods Tower Invitational.

The Crusaders lost to Detroit County Day 25-18, 25-14 and Regina 25-11, 25-16. Muskegon Catholic did defeat Clintondale 25-9, 25-2, Warren Mott 12-25, 25-21, 15-6 and Lakeshore 25-18, 25-11.

Amelia Heminger led Muskegon Catholic with 46 assist while Emily Olsen added 13 assist. Caitlyn Fodrocy added 41 digs and Calvinnae Simmons had 15 kills and four blocks.

The Crusaders are now 4-4 overall.
