A 19-point fourth quarter propelled the Grand Haven girls basketball team to a 49-43 win over Jenison on Friday night to remain undefeated on the season. 

After jumping out to a 15-7 lead after the first quarter, the Bucs saw their lead shrink in the second stanza, as they led 22-21 at the halftime break.

 

The Wildcats were able to grab the lead 36-30 at the end of the third stanza.


The Bucs offense can alive in the fourth, as they outscored Jenison 19-7 to pull away for the victory.

 

Esther Byington led Grand Haven with 16 points, with Kelly Olthof and Jolee Houle added 15 and 11 points apiece, respectively.

 

The Bucs are now 6-0 on the season.
