First-year coach Kyle Skodack has a solid group of seniors to work with in his rookie season.

Andrew Edwards, Brandon Rowell, James Hendricks, John Leonard, Jeff Dixon and Kevin Hodge bring age and experienced to the Cardinals’ lineup.

Juniors Brandon Edwards and Carlos Nunez also will be heavy contributors this season.

Players to watch for include seniors Jake Jett, Joey Powles, Jordan Wade and Cameron Stafford.

“We have depth on the bench and a solid returning starting core from last year,” Skodack said. “I know the guys have put a lot of dedication into this summer and want to get back to district finals.”

“If we have the right attitude and focus as a team, I feel this is possible, “ Skodack said. “We have some solid matches coming up in the conference and that can hopefully prepare us.”
