Beckmans lead Shelby boys to WMC victory over Ravenna

Jason and Andrew Beckman combined for 38 points on  Thursday night and led the Shelby Tigers to a 62-43 West Michigan Conference basketball victory over  Ravenna.

Jason Beckman led the way with 21 points and Andrew Beckman added 18. Spencer Peters chipped in with  nine points.

Colton Kantola led Ravenna with 14 points while Alex White had eight points and seven rebounds.

“Shelby played a strong game and we had a  hard time getting traction on offense,” Ravenna coach Mark VanderWal said. “They played a physical game that forced us into too many missed shots and turnovers.”
