The Grand Haven Buccaneer girls basketball team remained undefeated, but it wasn’t easy on Friday night.
The Bucs raced to a 15-point lead in the second quarter, but the host Grandville Bulldogs were able to battle back to within four in the third quarter before Grand Haven closed out a 40-32 victory.
Amanda Merz led Grand Haven with 12 points. Abby Cole added eight points and 11 rebounds.
Grand Haven is now 13-0.
