Ludington girls’ quick start too much for Spring Lake in Lakes 8 basketball

Ludington raced to a 26-12 halftime lead and cruised to a 53-33 Lakes 8 girls basketball victory over the Spring Lake Lakers.

D’Erika Varenhorst led Ludington with 21 points. Logan Meeker added 14.

Grace Peterson and Jewel Wiersma led Spring Lake with eight points each.
