The men’s basketball team from Muskegon Community College played its best all-around game of the season on Saturday and defeated Kellogg CC 81-57.
Balanced scoring, 23 assists on 28 baskets and a 50 percent shooting performance carried the Jayhawks to the victory.
Five Jayhawks reached double figures in scoring, led by Kenya Oas and Delvon Brown with 16 points each. T.J. Grant and Jake Anderson had 15 points each and Asa Wyers added 10 points.
Marquise Hatter also contributed nine points off the bench. DeVaughn Cole-Rodney paced the Jayhawks with 12 rebounds while Brown added nine and Anderson eight.
