The Reeths-Puffer Rockets came out flat in the first half and battled back in the second half for a 67-56 boys basketball victory over Kenowa Hills.

The Rockets were down by one point at the half, but outscored Kenowa Hills 19-11 in the third quarter to take a seven-point lead into the final quarter.Deandre Oaks-Owens led the Rockets with 16 points, followed by Kevin Polk with 15 and Marquese Livers with 13.

“Deandre scored some key baskets for us and Marquese had a big third quarter,” Rocket coach Dave Ingles said. “Kenowa played with a lot of energy and made shots. I give their coach a ton of credit for how much they have improved.”
