Saugatuck’s fourth-quarter surge too much for North Muskegon in Class C district opener

Saugatuck used a big fourth quarter to knock off North Muskegon and advance in the Class C district tournament.

The host Indians cut loose with a 20-8 scoring advantage in the final quarter and posted a 58-46 victory over the Norse.

Bella Perez-Pala led Saugatuck with 25 points.

Abby Clark led NM with 19 points and Alli Wierda added seven.

North Muskegon led 17-10 after one quarter, but trailed by three at the half. The teams went into the final quarter tied at 38.
