Fremont used a big second quarter to pull away from Grant 51-32 in a Class B district opener on Monday night.
The win sends Fremont into Wednesday’s semifinals where they will face Tri-County at 6 p.m. at Sparta High School.
The teams were tied at 13-13 after one quarter, but the Packers pulled away in the second quarter with a 12-2 run and took a 25-15 lead into halftime.
Shelby Karnemaat and Marissa Spickerman led the Packers with 11 points each.
McKayla McDonald added 10 points for Fremont and Claire Abendroth added six assists.
Dayna Wood led the Tigers with nine points and Dayle Wood had 16 rebounds.
