The Shelby Tigers run in the Class C boys basketball tournament came to end on Wednesday night with a 64-62 overtime loss to Maple City Glen Lake in the regional finals at Traverse City West High School.
Maple City Glen Lake advances to the quarterfinals where they will face Negaunee on Tuesday night.
The Tigers led 14-10 after one quarter and 28-24 at the half.
Shelby led 40-38 entering the final quarter, but Maple City Glen Lake outscored the Tigers 17-15 in the final quarter to send the game into overtime.
Maple City Glen Lake had a 9-7 scoring advantage in the overtime to earn the win.
Andrew Beckman led Shelby with 16 points, Spencer Peters scored 15 and Jason Beckman scored 12.
