Andrew Rowe leads Elmira to Game 5 playoff victory over Elmira

Muskegon native Andrew Rowe scored two goals and added one assist on Saturday night and led the Elmira Jackals to a 5-1 victory over Florida in an ECHL first-round playoff game.

Florida leads the best-of-seven series 3-2 with Game 6 scheduled for Monday night in Florida. If a seventh game is necessary, it would be played Wednesday in Florida.

On Saturday, Rowe scored with 1 second remaining in the second period to give Elmira a 4-0 lead. He added an empty-net goal in the game’s final seconds to finish off the scoring.

Rowe has four goals in five playoff games.
