Big fourth and fifth innings lifted Kent City to a 15-4 win over Godwin Heights in softball on Monday.
The Eagles erupted for five runs in the fourth inning and seven in the fifth. Godwin Heights had led 4-3 entering the fourth.
Janae Atwood highlighted the fifth inning rally with a grand slam homer. Atwood finished with two hits and five RBI for the Eagles.
Maddie Abshire had a single, double and three RBI while Brianne Sweers had a single and a triple for Kent City.
Ella Clas was the winning pitcher with four strikeouts. She gave up seven hits and walked one.
