Grant earned its first victory in the last game  of the season with a 30-21 win over Whitehall Friday in non-league football action.

The Tigers took a 13-0 first quarter lead on Garrett Bomay’s 22-yard pass to Brian Hitts and Kaleb Hepinstall’s 24-yard touchdown reception.

Hitts also caught an 11-yard touchdown pass, Riley Foster added a 79-yard scoring run and Brandon Bosker kicked a 28-yard field goal to complete the scoring for Grant.

Jacob Knowlton kicked field goals of 33 and 32 yards for Whitehall  and Trip Thommen scored on a 19-yard run for the Vikings.

Foster rushed three times for 85 yards to lead the Tigers and Bomay added 74 yards on 16 carries.

Bomay was 7-of-12 passing for 92 yards and Hitts caught two passes for 33 yards.

Thommen led the Vikings with 97 yards rushing and Keenan Aylor added 71 yards on the ground.

Connor Rake was 7-of-12 passing for 74 yards for Whitehall. Cheston Manns caught two passes for 38 yards.
