The Western Michigan Christian cross country teams competed in the Fremont Hill and Bale Invitational..

The Warrior girls took first place in the White Division against Manton, Potter’s House and North Pointe Christian.

Senior Abby VanderKooi finished first with a time of 18:46, while her freshman sister, Grace VanderKooi, finished the race second with a time of 20:42.

Junior Brianna Zuidema took sixth with a time of 22:47. Senior Ava Rotman took seventh with a time if 22:55 and junior Cate Garretson finished in 11th with a time of 24:08. Rounding out top finishers for the WMC girls was sophomore Eleanor Kingshott in 14th with 24:41.

The WMC boys teams was right in the hunt and settled with third place in the White Division.

Three Warriors won medals for the team. Taking fourth, junior Jonathon Clausing, finished with a time of 19:10. Sophomore Danny Maat placed tenth with a time of 20:54. Freshman Alexander Lawrence took 13th with a time of 21:09.
