James Abriatis leads Oakridge to convincing West Michigan Conference win over Mason County Central

Oakridge rolled to a 49-26 West Michigan Conference win over Mason County Central on Friday night.

James Abriatis scored three times and Jerick Wambaugh and Alex Torrenga added a pair of touchdowns each to lead the Eagles.

Wambaugh scored on a 5-yard TD run and caught a 59-yard TD pass from Austin Wright.

Abriatis scored on runs of 54 and 24 yards and caught a 20-yard TD pass from Wright.

Torrenga caught 10 and 8-yard scoring passes for his scores.

Josh Ritzema scored on runs of 1, 54 and 5-yards to lead MCC and Murphy O’Brien added a 3-yard scoring run.

Wright was 11-of-17 passing for 175 yards to lead Oakridge and Wambaugh added 78 yards on three catches.

Abriatis led the Oakridge ground game with 129 yards rushing on 12 carries.

Spencer Knizacky was 4-of-9 passing for 84 yards to lead MCC.

Matt Strejcek caught three passes for 79 yards for MCC and Ritzema rushed 18 times for 137 yards.
