Spring Lake closed out its regular season conference play with a volleyball win over Howard City Tri-County Tuesday. The Lakers won in three sets 25-8, 25-19, and 25-21.

The Lakers took charge in the first set with dominating net play from Kelsee Zuidema and Courtney Kyser.

Service points were also key in the win for Spring Lake as the Vikings struggled to handle Laker serves.

“We served tough which caused Tri-County to send over free balls and to overpass,” said Spring Lake coach Sarah Bulthuis. “Tonight’s match was a total team effort with many players contributing. Passing was consistent which allowed for many offensive choices.”
