SCHOOLCRAFT – The season is over for the Western Michigan Christian Warrior volleyball squad after dropping a three-game match to host Schoolcraft at Thursday’s regional finals.

The host Eagles won the first set 25-19, Set 2 25-16, and wrapped up the victory with a 25-21 win in the third set.

The Warriors got 24 kills and 14 digs from Maria Ma, while Emma Rudd added 11 digs and Ashley Oosterhouse totaled 25 assists in the loss.

Schoolcraft was led by Sidney Haverdink, who finished with 11 kills, and teammate Camile Giacobone finished with 33 assists in the victory.

The Warriors finish with a 42-13-2 overall record.

Schoolcraft moves on to face Mendon at next Tuesday’s quarterfinals match at Delton Kellogg High School.
