Muskegon Community College golfer Oliver Shepardson advanced to the National Junior College Athletic Association national finals after finishing seventh place Tuesday in the regional tournament.
Shepardson shot an 80 to wrap up a final score of 226 through three rounds.
The Jayhawks ended the tournament in fourth place as a team with 922, which was 40 strokes behind the tournament winner Owens Community College.
