It was a great birthday for Muskegon Catholic Central senior running back Tommy Scott, who helped lead the host Crusaders to a 54-0 victory Friday against Ludington.

In the first quarter, Scott scored three of his four touchdowns on runs of 44, 45, and 65 yards. He added his fourth touchdown in the second quarter on a 37-yard burst. Scott finished with 203 yards on six carries and four touchdowns.

Senior quarterback Nick Holt was another big contributor on the ground for MCC, as he scored on a 54- yard run in the second quarter and a 1-yard run as well. Holt scored the only touchdown in the third quarter with a 43-yard TD run. He finished the game with 123 yards on five carries and three touchdowns.

Brody Kieft finished the scoring in the fourth quarter with a 1-yard run.

Muskegon Catholic had 453 yards of total offense on 36 plays, while limiting Ludington to a meager 20 yards on 40 plays.

Lamar Jordan led the team with nine tackles, Kieft had five, and Miles Novotny and Nate Jones each had four.
