Two second-half goals by Noah Sorn helped the Reeths-Puffer soccer team to a 3-1 win Thursday against visiting Kenowa Hills.

 Spencer Palsrok’s goal assisted by Alec Mavis gave the Rockets a 1-0 lead at intermission of the OK Black Conference contest.

After a goal by the Knights, Sorn scored his two goals to spark the Rockets’ victory. Chase Sitkavitsis earned an assist on Sorn’s second goal.

Jake Lofgren made eight saves in net for the Rockets, who had a 10-9 advantage in shots.

Puffer finishes the regular season at 8-8-2 overall and 6-4 in the league.

Spring Lake 1, Western Michigan Christian 0: The Lakers scored their lone goal by Jordan VanderMeulen in the first minute of the game and the next 79 minutes was a stalemate. It was a big nonleague win for the Lakers on Senior Night.

Hudsonville 2, Fruitport 0: The Trojans surrendered two first-half goals in the nonconference loss. Hudsonville outshot Fruitport 15-10 in the Trojans’ final regular-season game before next week’s district tournament.
