Non-league girls hoops 12/12: WMC downs Kelloggsville, Muskegon falls to Rockford

Western Michigan Christian 31, Kelloggsville 22 – A strong defensive performance and a 14-4 fourth quarter advantage led the Western Michigan Christian girls basketball team to a 31-22 victory Friday in non-league action.

The Warriors, now 2-2 on the season, were led by Cassie Kingma with 14 points.

Rockford 54, Muskegon 39 –The Rams held Muskegon to two points in the third quarter and 11 in the second half. Mardrieka Cook led the Big Reds with 22 points in a losing effort.
