The Fremont girls basketball team defeated the Fruitport Trojans 41-36 in overtime Friday night in a Lakes 8 Conference contest.
The Packers outscored the Trojans 6-2 in overtime to secure the victory.
Lexie Bradley led the Packers with 18 points as Fremont improved to 4-12 on the season.
Iyana Brown led the Trojans with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and seven steals.

Orchard View 75, Muskegon Catholic 55 – Orchard View’s Jayshonna Blackshire had a huge night, scoring 35 points, dishing out six assists and nabbing three steals. A’Miyah Brown added 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds in the win. The Cardinals (9-8) never trailed in the process of dropping the Crusaders to 4-11.

Holton 59, Hesperia 28 – Jacki Stone scored 15 points and Makayla Hutchinson added nine as the Red Devils cruised to the league victory. Holton improved to 12-4 overall.
River Valley
Tri-Unity Christian 51, Western Michigan Christian 44 – The Warriors led 38-35 after the third quarter but lost after a 16-6 Tri-Unity fourth quarter run. Lindsey Johnson led the Warriors with 12 points while Jessica Eekhoff added 10.
