Red Sox 7, Tigers 2 – The Tigers have not had a winning streak exceed over three games since early April when Detroit started out 6-0.
Detroit fell to the Boston Red Sox on Friday night, to snap its two-game win streak.
J.D Martinez hit his team leading 30th home run of the season and knocked in both Detroit runs.
Detroit starting pitcher Daniel Norris demonstrated he is
not quite David Price caliber yet, allowing five runs on nine hits in 3 1/3 innings.
The Tigers will look to even the series on Saturday night.
