Tigers 4, Rangers 0 – Alfredo Simon pitched a gem, tossing nine scoreless innings to led the Tigers over the Texas Rangers on Thursday night.
Simon allowed just one hit while striking out five batters to lead Detroit to their first three-game winning streak since June 23rd.
Nick Castellanos knocked in two runs for Detroit, while Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez each had an RBI.
The Tigers will look keep their winning streak alive with a victory over the 
Rangers on Friday night.
